In honor of National Library Week, the Crandon Public Library will host award winning author Kathryn Springer on Thursday, April 16th at 6:00pm. The event will take place at the Town of Lincoln Community Building and will include a chicken dinner and dessert. Tickets for the sale are $10.00 each and will go on sale the first week of April at the Library.

Kathryn Springer is a local success story, having grown up in Crandon as the daughter of newspaper publishers, Russell and Arlet Steel. Since 2004 she has published over twenty novels and was the recipient of the American Christian Fiction Writers Carol Award for Best Christian Fiction in 2009. Springer will be presenting on her latest book, “The Dandelion Field” which made its debut in January and quickly won the hearts of millions of Christian fiction readers.   Springer’s presentation is certain to be a night of unlimited possibilities so please join the Crandon Public Library in celebrating a great author and a community’s love for its library.
