The Crandon Public Library Board will be sponsoring a School Board Candidate Forum on Monday, March 22nd beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Crandon Public Library. The forum will allow candidates running for election to the Crandon School Board a chance to answer questions and establish their views on key issues within the school district. Currently there are three candidates seeking two positions in the upcoming election to be held on Tuesday, April 6th.
The three candidates have been invited to participate in the forum which will be moderated with a list of questions and time limits imposed on the candidates’ answers to ensure an equal opportunity for all to participate. The library board also has allowed enough time at the end of the session for questions from the audience. Individuals interested in running for the school board as write-in candidates are also encouraged to contact Michelle at the Library so that they too may be included in the forum.
