Mark your calendars for Monday, July 20, at 3:00 pm. The event, which is FREE, will be held in the lower level of the Cra
ndon Library. The Bassmeister is a fun and entertaining guy who brings the excitement of fishing into both the lives of children and adults. Kids will learn fishing basics, learn about different types of lures, and get directly involved with demonstrations on stage. His show entitled, “Fishing for Laughs,” will have the audience laughing (adults will have just as much fun as the kids), and the children begging to be the next volunteer to assist The Bassmeister up on stage. The show includes puppetry, a “Bass Beauty Pageant,” smelling stinky stink-baits, “chumming” for kids, and training on how to build your own fishing pole. Children also get involved with critical thinking as related to water safety and lure selection. Come see the Bassmeister! This community event is sponsored by the Forest Count Library Board Special Project Grant.
